Wellington daydream: leave room for the waterfront
A travel inspiration note, not a firsthand trip report.
For a future Wellington visit, I would leave one part of the day open for the waterfront instead of filling every hour. Queens Wharf, harbour views and the Writer's Walk sound like a good excuse to slow down and notice the city.
My idea: pick a short stretch, pause when something catches your eye, and keep an indoor alternative if the weather changes. No pressure to complete a checklist.
What makes a waterfront walk memorable for you: public art, a quiet bench, or a good coffee stop?

Leaving some unplanned time by the water sounds like a lovely idea. Which short stretch would you suggest starting with, and what indoor alternative would pair well with it if the weather changes?
