How much should a route leave undecided?

I have Rijksmuseum, Museumplein and Vondelpark in that order. I do not want to invent a precise finish time before choosing the museum visit length. Would you find this useful as a three-stop idea, or would you want a short version displayed beside it? My short version would end at Museumplein.
