The case for a two-stop Prague route

Old Town Square and Charles Bridge are enough for this version. I am interested in the details between big landmarks, so a short list suits me better than a packed map. I would choose the walking streets on the day and leave towers or guided visits out of the base plan. Which detail do you usually notice first: doors, rooftops or the river?
