Tokyo, at your own pace: Sensoji to the Sumida River
A two-stop walking idea in Asakusa, Japan. This is a proposed plan, not a report of a completed trip.
1. Start at Sensoji Temple. Leave time to look at the buildings and observe visitor etiquette instead of rushing through. 2. Continue toward the Taito-side Sumida Park waterfront for a change of pace and views across the river.
Keep the afternoon flexible: shorten the riverside part if the weather or your energy changes. Food, shopping, cruises and paid attractions are optional extras, not included bookings. Travel time is not verified here; choose the exact pedestrian route and allow for crossings, crowds and breaks.
