Privacy policy

We use an internal random visit identifier to connect page views, engagement and clicks during a visit. Reports can include the time, landing page, language, referring domain when available, source, campaign, ad, REF/PARAM, provider and button placement. These records do not establish your identity, a purchase or a commission. Server and security logs may contain technical connection information such as IP addresses.

Essential cookies support sessions and form security. Language and terms acceptance preferences last up to one year. Your saved trip notebook and accessibility preferences are kept in this browser; clearing browser data removes them. Calculator inputs are used to produce the result, not stored as article analytics. Do not enter payment details or sensitive traveller data into these tools.

When you follow an affiliate link, the provider receives the request and affiliate campaign identifiers. Its own privacy and cookie policies apply. We do not control its processing. Contact tripovela@gmail.com for questions or requests about access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law and verification where needed.

Cookies and preferences remember the site language and acceptance of terms; reading settings and saved guides stay in your browser to make return visits easier. We do not ask visitors for payment or booking details, and the site has no system receiving details of bookings you make on Viator or other third-party sites, including purchases through affiliate links. An outbound click does not tell us that a purchase occurred. However, usage and attribution records are stored as explained in the privacy policy, and an email you choose to send includes the details you provide. This does not mean that no information is processed.

Community ratings: submitting a rating stores the score, activity ID, update time and a hash of a random browser identifier on our server. The identifier is kept in a cookie for one year so ratings can be updated from that browser; no name or booking details are required. Only aggregate scores are public.

What is the difference between planning, maintaining and measuring referral

Entering amounts in a planning tool is intended to calculate according to the data you have chosen to provide. It is not necessary to enter identifying details of passengers to compare two offers. Use general descriptions such as family or couple and amounts only. Even when copying information from an offer you received, leave out of the order codes and personal details form.

Keeping a guide in the travel notebook is an action in the browser. It differs from a viewing log or port to a provider on the server. Clearing browser data may affect the local notebook; it should not be assumed to be a deletion of any server entry described in the policy. Keep an export copy if you need to plan ahead.

Source and campaign labels help to understand what links and ads referrals come from. They are not a passport number, a passenger name or a purchase permit. A redirect address is not always available, so even a source registration does not guarantee that the full route that each surfer has passed before entering can be identified.

When switching to a partner you go out into an environment that is managed by another party. The explanation here refers to the Tripovela website and does not describe all network or supplier operations after the move. For the purpose of ordering and paying, the information they present in their system must be read.
